Two of the finest practitioners of photojournalism working today will show work and talk about the directions their careers have taken them. Imagine a fireside chat with David Burnett and Eugene Richards…reflections and banter from two extraordinary photographers.

David Burnett is in his fourth decade of covering the most important stories of our times. Working for publications like
LIFE,
TIME, the
New York Times Magazine and
National Geographic, from the war in Viet Nam to the Olympics in China, Burnett has been there.
Eugene Richards has spent 40 years in photography telling the stories he believes need telling. These include subjects like the American family, drug addiction, and pediatric AIDS to aging and death. Richards is well known for his books ranging from
Exploding Into Life, which documents his first wife’s struggle with breast cancer, to
Through the Ashes, an elegy to those who lost their lives in New York City on 9/11.
